Registration

• A. Student films – $25.00
  Student at time of filming the entry. A maximum of 2 entries per student is allowed. Entrants must state which cinematography / film course or school they attended at the time of filming their entry.
• B. Music videos – $75.00
  Musical, or concert items shot for the purpose of entertainment or promotion.
• C. Short films – $75.00
  Short dramatised productions.
• D. News and current affairs – $75.00
  News or current affairs stories or segments broadcast on regular television news or current affairs programs. Enter a single story, segment, or episode. Entries which are more documentary in nature and which run for the entire duration of the program, also have the option of being entered into Documentaries.
• E. Magazine, lifestyle and reality – $75.00
  Light entertainment human-interest productions or segments. For example: travel, leisure, gardening, property, cooking, entertainment, science, sports, arts and reality shows. Enter a single story, segment, or episode.
• F. Corporate and educational – $75.00
  Productions specifically shot for a corporate or educational market designed to teach or inform. Includes longer online infomercials.
• G. Documentaries and factual series – $75.00
  This category is for documentary productions that deal with people in relation to their environment. Entries can include feature documentaries, documentary series and documentaries subjects within current affairs programs that constitute the entire program.
• H. Web series – $75.00
  An episode from a series (more than three episodes) made for online distribution.
• I. Commercials – $95.00
  Commercials for national or international release. Entries must have been specifically shot for this purpose and not repurposed from other material. Commercials are generally distinguished from corporate and educational entries by shorter length (under 90 seconds), TV commercial style, and high productions values.
• J. Specialised and second unit – $95.00
  Second unit sequences or specialised cinematography sequences or productions.
• K. Drama & drama series – $110.00
  A standalone drama, dramatised documentary, comedy, or one episode from a series. Made for TV broadcast or subscription service.
• L. Feature films - Budget under $5m – $135.00
  Feature productions intended for national or international theatrical release.
• M. Feature Films - Budget $5m and over – $135.00
  Feature productions intended for national or international theatrical release.
