Join us in Auckland for a conversation about the inner workings of the director-cinematographer relationship.
Carlos González SVC, a Venezuelan cinematographer and director based in Los Angeles, is in New Zealand to film 'Zombies 4: Day and Night' and has kindly agreed to share his expertise and perspectives on the director-cinematographer relationship in a casual show-and-tell format.
Some of the topics covered will include how the cinematographer can best assist a director in an episodic environment, how the director can successfully integrate into an ongoing production and how to work with the cinematographer for that purpose, and we will also discuss the director/cinematographer relationship in television compared to on a feature film.
Refreshments and nibbles provided from 6:15 PM, with the presentation kicking off promptly at 7:00 PM.
