Join us tonight, Thursday 18th November, as the NZCS hosts an informal online discussion with local cinematographers Aaron Morton NZCS, Andrew Stroud and Nina Wells and gaffers Sean O'Neill and Giles Coburn.

The main subject for this initial webinar will be Exterior Lighting approaches: both day and night scenes, and will range from high-end, big-budget, international approaches to lower budget, local production where great initiative is often needed to compensate for less resources.

Learn about "four-bangers" and "fly-swats" and the move to fully wireless control of all fixtures on set and dial-up colour matching in an instant.

This will be a round-table discussion, moderated by Michael Paletta who will field questions from the audience as well.

Register for the event below, to receive a link to join.  Find out about latest technologies, tricks and tips from the pros and how DP's and gaffers break down scripts, plan big set-ups, rationalise equipment, adhere to safety mandates and above all, contribute a unique visual style in collaboration with the director and key HOD's to tell a compelling story on screen.

Free for NZCS members, Non-members $15.00
