Conversation with accomplished cinematographer Alex Disenhof

Alex Disenhof is an American Cinematographer, presently in NZ shooting  The Lord of The Rings Series, and we are very lucky to have an opportunity to meet with him next week in Auckland.

Breaking into the industry incredibly fast and effectively from filming snowboarding videos, Disenhof has lensed over a dozen feature films and television shows spanning diverse genres.

Highlights include lensing the finale of HBO’s WATCHMEN, an ASC nomination for the pilot of THE EXORCIST, and two Camerimage nominations for Showtime’s CITY ON A HILL and MONO NO AWARE.

His most recent projects include the pilot and first several episodes for Apple’s upcoming MOSQUITO COAST, FX's LEGION, and the films CAPTIVE STATE and CODE 8. 

Disenhof will present a show'n'tell on some of his projects, and speak to us about his perspective on a collaborative work environment. He believes that the values of respect, empathy, and kindness are just as important as artistic excellence in every project that he takes on.
