As bonus to the NZCS Awards, you can spend a pleasant afternoon meeting Tom Stern ASC AFC, in a conversation about his cinematography and his career.
It is a career that saw him make the leap from established gaffer to cinematographer on Clint Eastwood's self directed Blood Work in 2002.
What followed was an impressive list of Eastwood movies, multiple nominations and awards, including classics like Mystic River, Flag of our Fathers , Gran Torino, and Sully, on release now.
But that is just one thread of a career story that includes films like The Hunger Games, along with some intriguing French productions.
Tom is our guest of honour at the NZCS Awards, but but we will get real insights by sitting with him as he converses with Simon Riera NZCS. You too, will have a chance to ask questions.
Although it is free for members and NZCS Awards attendees, it helps our planning if you RSVP.
After this event you may to head over see the new RED Weapon - for the first time in Australasia. RSVP to see the RED Weapon here.
